Procurement of active aural protection with flat attenuation suitable for use by musicians. Procurement of active aural protection with flat attenuation for use by musicians. Hearing protection should be discrete in order to maintain appropriate appearance of ceremonial dress and allow musician to switch between 15dB and 9dB attenuation easily. The They should provide impulse noise protection and must be water resistant to allow for outdoor use. Automatic protection should activate when hearing is at risk. This would require an adaptive system which reacts to dangerous noise levels. The proposed Contract will be 2 years + 2 option years The estimated quantities for this Contract are 2 300 for 4 years. The estimated value range for this contract for 4 years will be between 600 000 GBP and 800 000 GBP.
