Tender description

The Marine Institute requires Mooring Buoys and Plates for its Marine Research site at Lehannagh Pool. The minimum technical requirements for the goods are listed below: • 6 x 1100 litre buoys with Net Buoyancy of 1000kg. • 1100 litre buoys to include 16mm galvanised chain within the mooring buoy. • 6 x 1600 litre buoy with a Net buoyancy of 1400kg. • 1600 litre buoy to include16 mm galvanised chain within the mooring buoy. • 12 x Warm galvanised Mooring plates with 16 holes of minimum 37mm diameter. • Mooring plate minimum load per hole of 60T Full details are available in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
