Tender description

Tender is for the design, supply, delivery and installation of the floating mooring units at various sites on the Shannon Navigation (Sites 1, 2 & 3) and Erne Navigation (Site 4): — Site 1: Clarendon Lock, Knockvicar, County Roscommon, — Site 2: Roosky, County Leitrim, — Site 3: Athlone Railway Bridge, County Westmeath, — Site 4: Castlesaunderson, County Cavan. Each site shall be considered as a separate lot (Lots 1, 2, 3 & 4) for the purpose of assessment. Approx. 70m total length floating mooring/jetty: — 4nr. 12m x 2.5m wide floating mooring units, — 1nr. 12m x 2.5m wide special angled floating mooring unit, — 1nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating canoe mooring unit, — 1nr. 6m x 3.0m wide floating landing unit, — 1nr. 12m long access gangway. Approx. 70m total length floating mooring/jetty: — 5nr. 12m x 2.5m wide floating mooring units, — 1nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating canoe mooring unit, — 1nr. 6m x 3.0m wide floating landing unit, — 1nr. 9m long access gangway. Approx. 72m total length floating mooring/jetty + 9m separate canoe section: — 3nr. 12m x 2.5m wide floating mooring units, — 4nr. 9m x 2.5m wide special angled floating mooring units, — 1nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating canoe mooring units, — 1nr. 6m x 2.5m wide floating landing units, — 1nr. 12m long access gangways, — 1nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating canoe mooring units (at canoe club). Approx. 42m total length floating mooring/jetty: — 2nr. 12m x 3.0m wide floating mooring units (mooring both sides of units), — 2nr. 9m x 3.0m wide floating mooring units, — 1nr. 6m x 3.0m wide floating landing unit, — 1nr. 15m long access gangway, — 3nr. Piles to be design and built into the main floating mooring units.
