Summary of the work Project management / leadership. Contractor management. Resolution of GFX & logistics requirements. Planning / scheduling. Risk management. Issues and dependencies management. Site engagement throughout project lifecycle. Progress tracking. Resolution of emerging issues. Interface with SME’s technical, test etc. Interface with commercial and financial departments. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 12 Months with 2 x 6 Months options pending financial approval Latest start date Monday 18 September 2017 Maximum Day Rate The day rate is up to £450 per day EX VAT to include agency fees. Please note that Intermediaries legislation applies to this assignment, take this into account when choosing your candidate and ensure they are aware at the outset. DO NOT submit candidates that you have already put forward. Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and contractors within the IUS team. What Specialists Work On Fixed voice telephony upgrades Skills & Experience • At least five years experience of performing reporting and governance activities across a portfolio - 20% • At least five years experience of using MS Project/Enterprise Project Manager to underpin project planning and control - 15% • At least five years experience of using MS Office Suite including MOSS/Sharepoint Office 365 - 15% • At least five years experience of working with Project and Project Support staff to maintain coherant portoflio governance and reporting - 15% • At least five years experience of working with Finance and Commercial staff to maintain coherant portoflio governance and reporting - 10% • Experience of matrix and collaborative working styles in a large programme management environment - 5% • A recognised Project Management Qualification (e.g. APM or MSP) at a minimum of Foundation level - 10%. • Experience of Overseas and or telecoms delivery - 10% Work Location ISS, Building 405, Spur E2, Westwells Road, MOD Corsham, SN13 9NR Working Arrangments All tasking will take place from MoD Corsham and you are required there 5 days a week, the working day is 8 hours to include 30 minutes for lunch. Day visits may be required. No remote working is permitted. Overnight visits will only be permitted if permission is sought in advance. T&S will be paid in accordance with MoD Civilian Policy. All resources will be provided and access to the organisation's IT system; no personal or company laptops will be permitted on site. No other expenses will be paid. Security Clearance SC Clearance must be in place prior to the contract starting due to the projects worked on. SC status must be valid for the duration of the contract. DV Clearance is also acceptable. BPSS or Disclosure Scotland is not acceptable and the Authority will NOT sponsor SC Clearance. Additional T&Cs Intermediaries legislation applies to this assignment (Inside IR35), take this into account when choosing your candidate and ensure they are aware at the outset.
