Refer to ITT documents. PURCH1496Provision of A Framework Agreement for Internal Audit Services for The Period of Three Years with The Option to Extend for 12 Months. Tender Scope: The prime responsibility of the internal audit service is to provide the Court of the University, the Audit and Risk Committee and the designated officer responsible, and other managers of the institution with assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the financial and other internal control systems, and advise on its compliance with corporate governance requirements and good practice guidance. The operation and conduct of the Internal Audit Service must conform to the standards specified in the Institute of Internal Auditors International Professional Practices Framework. Internal auditors must also have regard to relevant advice provided by professional auditing and accountancy bodies, and any guidance produced by the Council. Reference should also be made to the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards, as endorsed by all standard setting bodies including the Scottish Government, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Chartered Institute of Public Financial Accountancy (CIPFA). Refer to Schedule 2 — Section 1 Specification of Contract for further detail. Returns to be submitted via Public Contracts Scotland, no paper copies will be accepted.
