The Provider(s) will need a tried and tested high control behavioural management model in place to ensure the young people have the best support and best outcomes possible available to them. The Provider(s) will be expected to work with community partners, the Local Police and Safeguarding Boards and other agencies to always promote a team around the child to promote better outcomes. All staff who work within the homes will be recruited in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines and undergo a rigorous training programme. The Provider(s), will ensure they meet all nine Quality Standards contained within the Children's Home Regulations to help young people achieve better outcomes and will ensure Statutory Requirements and Legislation around providing care for looked after children are met, as identified within the Specification.
