Tender description

This is a prior information notice ( PIN) only: Publication and call for competition will be conducted once scope of work is fully defined and approved. DFID is planning a new multi-year humanitarian programme to be delivered over five years in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The programme will provide urgent lifesaving humanitarian assistance and protection to meet the needs of people in DRC affected by crises. It will at the same time support the reform of the international humanitarian response, ensuring it is better able to save lives and protect people and reinforce the resilience of the response, communities and households to be able to better manage both chronic and recurring crises. It will also promote innovation in the humanitarian response. DFID is planning a new multi-year humanitarian programme to be delivered over five years in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It will also promote innovation in the humanitarian response. DFID is exploring options to contract additional monitoring, evaluation and research capacity. The purpose of this notice is to invite interested organisations to a meeting in London or Kinshasa in order to conduct a ‘market test’ and engage with organisations and individuals that have experience of monitoring humanitarian programmes DRC. This will take the form of a two hour session including a short presentation followed by discussion.
