Tender description

Provision of Electrical Testing and Inspections services for fixed wired installations and associated minor repairs Term Contract 2017 - 2022 (extendible to 2027 subject to satisfactory performance). A term contract with a single contractor to provide electrical testing and inspection services of fixed wired installations and associated minor repairs across a range of properties owned or managed by Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight Council. Property types that comprise the programme includes but is not limited to schools, special schools, academies, faith schools, corporate offices, including data centres, day care centres, residential care, nursing care, libraries and museums, leisure centres, country parks, farms, residential housing, scheduled monuments, police and fire stations. The contract will encompass: — An annual programme of prescribed properties and required works; — The rigorous 100 % electrical testing, inspection and certification of the fixed wired installations of buildings in the programme; — Reporting the faults found; — Provision of an Electrical Installation Condition Report, complete with list of coded defects for each designated building; — An inclusive 100 % review of the buildings electrical system (excluding communications and IT); — Complete re-labelling, re-charting and the provision of schematic drawings; — Updating the Hampshire County Council Database for each property via web access.
