Tender description

The provision of Water Safety Services around the Thanet Coastline. Key requirements are: 1. Provision, delivery and monitoring of lifeguard services at key beach locations based on sound risk assessment focussing on high footfall areas and areas with complicated hazards. 2. Evidence of comprehensive employment and training systems for all managers, supervisors and lifeguards. 3. Education programme to include key information produced by Thanet District Council in local schools and at key community events. 4. Investment in water safety equipment, staff bases and high visibility viewing points for key locations as per point 1. 5. Support the content and placement of water safety signage around coastline and achievement of quality assurance awards. 6. Assist Thanet District Council and its partners in terms of beach cleanliness and implementation of beach safety aspects. The provision of Water Safety Services around the Thanet Coastline.
