Asbestos removal services

Tender description

PFA invites tenders for organisations to participate in a 48 month Framework Agreement for the supply of service for Asbestos Surveys and Removals and associated services, split into 2 Lots 1 for Surveys and 1 for Removals. The Agreement will be accessible by members of PFA and may also be used by all Registered Providers of Social Housing, Local Authorities and other contracting authorities that are located in the United Kingdom, including those listed in Schedule 1 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/102. Therefore the main activity areas that can access the framework are: General public services; Defence; Public order and safety; Economic and financial affairs; Health; Housing and community amenities; Social protection; Recreation, culture and religion; Education. The Agreement is also available to all current and future members of Procurement for All (‘PFA’), a public sector consortium with a list of members available from the website: www.procurementforall.co.uk Procurement For All's Asbestos framework is for qualified Service Providers who can undertake surveying, sampling and analysis of asbestos to domestic and communal areas (both occupied and void) to the relevant current British Standards at the time of draw down. The tender will be for membership of a framework agreement under which it envisages that contracts will be let to Service Providers within the framework for the provision of all or part of these services and the like for any relevant properties in the Client's ownership or managed by the individual (and future) members of the Procurement For All consortium. The Authority and its present future members reserves the right to withdraw from this procurement procedure at any time. Bidders are responsible for the costs and expenses they incur as a result of participating in this procurement procedure. The Authority is interested in expressions of interest from bidders who can operate both nationally and regionally.
