Urban Traffic Control (UTC) Ducting and Minor Highway Civils Works Framework

Tender description

To ensure implementation of adaptive traffic signal control (SCOOT/ MOVA) within the required timescales for the funding available, TfGM will require two suitably experienced contractors to be appointed to Framework Agreements in order to undertake associated civils enabling works in terms of ducting and other associated minor highways works. This will be on an on-going basis for the next three years in order to support the expenditure of funding. It is intended that site works will commence in early 2018. Funding has been obtained via Growth Deal 3 and other additional funding may also be obtained during the term of the framework that results in a requirement to undertake further works associated with traffic signal junction improvements, these may also be delivered via the framework. The contractual arrangement is also intended to be made available for use by other authorities who may require works to be delivered via the framework subject to availability of funding.
