This public procurement competition relates to the supply of round log haulage services from suitably qualified tenderers who can meet our requirements for Haulage Services in 2018 — Allocation 1. The contract involves the haulage of round logs from forest roadside to Smartply (Waterford), Medite (Clonmel) and other locations. This contract will also include all roundwood products, i.e. large and small sawlog, stake, firewood and energy-wood. Coillte are using an open procurement procedure, which means that the any interested party can submit a tender. This is a 1-stage procedure. With effect from September 2017 the BAUs have moved from a structure of 8 BAU areas to 6 BAU areas.
