The provision of Ultrasonic Resonators for the prevention of water borne parasites and algae

Tender description

As part of the development work of the Aquaculture Division, BIM is required to test and evaluate, for the purposes of technology transfer, novel technologies that will reduce costs and increase environmental sustainability of the aquaculture industry. To facilitate these tests, BIM are seeking to procure resonators for 3 different projects (please see Section 2). BIM reserve the right to purchase these resonators as per the individual projects and are not obliged to complete purchase for all or any of the projects. The resonators will be used as specified for the following three projects: 1. Freshwater land based. 2. Marine land based. 3. Marine cage. Tenderers should note that this equipment may be used in sheltered or exposed sites. This tender will not be divided into lots.
