The Forestry Commission intend to award a Framework Agreement for The Supply of Mechanised Tree Harvesters and Forwarders including associated Parts for service and repair with delivery across Scotland and England. The Forestry Commission intend to award a Framework Agreement for The Supply of Mechanised Tree Harvesters and Forwarders including associated Parts for service and repair with delivery across Scotland and England. The duration of the Framework Agreement shall be for 3 years plus an option to extend for a further 1 year at our discretion and will be based on the following factors: performance of Machines, budget availability, value for money and delivery to specification. The value of the Framework Agreement has been estimated at no more than 11 000 000 GBP excluding VAT, split approximately 68 %/32 % between Scotland and England. The Forestry Commission anticipates appointing a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 of the top ranked bidders to the Framework Agreement that comply with the requirements of this tender. — This multi-supplier framework agreement was not split into Lots, either geographically or by product as all bidders will be expected to deliver to both countries and maintaining 2 lots for the same requirement would introduce an unreasonable complexity to the contracting authority.
