Royal Holloway and Bedford New College is currently tendering for the Provision of a Library Overnight Security Service. The College) has grown to become 1 of the top research-led university institutions in the country with a 135 acre campus that is home to an impressive range of modern academic and social facilities. The architectural centrepiece of the college is its highly ornate, late Victorian Founder's Building constructed of red brick and Portland stone in the style of a French Chateau. The provision of the service is for overnight staffing from 20:45 to 9:15 daily, 7 days per week for approximately 356 days per year (currently excludes the Christmas/New Year period). The Library is spread across all 4 floors within the Emily Wilding Davison building being built ready to open in September 2017. The Library features a variety of study spaces, including group rooms, group and silent study areas as well as over 12 000 linear metres of books, journals and other material.
