Tender description

Scope of the Project The Council is looking to carry out a procurement process for the replacement of traditional pitched roof covering to housing stock owned by Kettering Borough Council. The nature of the works undertaken will typically comprise of: (i) replacement of existing; a. roof coverings, battens, underfelt and replacement with specified concrete tiling/components; b. roof level joinery (fascia and soffit boarding), including removal of existing asbestos-cement based components where present; c. pvc-u guttering/clearing of existing concrete sectional guttering Finlock; (ii) installation and top-up layer of mineral fibre insulation over existing insulation, as required; and (iii) Minor repairs to chimney stacks and high level brickwork.
