Tender description
Sheffield City Council wishes to appoint a supplier to deliver BiG Challenge 11 - 13 between September 2017 and June 2020. BiG Challenge has three objectives for young people, their schools and colleges in Sheffield: • Experience – provides a positive experience of entrepreneurship and operational business challenges. • Opportunity – to encourage the participants to value and consider entrepreneurial career opportunities, including self-employment. • Embedding – to catalyse the development of enterprise as an integral part of education in schools, colleges and apprenticeships. Teams aged 11-19, and studying up to Level 3 courses from across Sheffield’s secondary schools and colleges have the opportunity to win, with personal rewards for every winning entrant plus ‘the BiG Prize’ for the overall winning team – a fully paid 5 star overseas trip.
