Why the Work is Being Done Building on progress made with STP areas on a programme to baseline maturity and plan development paths for Primary Care organisations, further work is required to implement these plans with new and existing targets. Problem to Be Solved Bringing practices up to a skill level that enables the local health systems to rely on a predictable standard of functionality in its primary care elements is key to maximising the use of technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of longitudinal healthcare provision. Who Are the Users As a GP, practice nurse or pharmacist attached to a practice, I need to know how to make the best use of the the information systems and services available to me and how they relate to other systems used to provide care to my patients. Early Market Engagement Existing service provider will be aware of the work in hand and suppliers will have seen previous requirements in the Marketplace Work Already Done Base lining and establishment of agreed maturity indices, along with progress in upskilling in certain domains and with a proportion of the target settings Existing Team Existing internal BAU teams maintain service levels according to contractual agreements. Development work undertaken by separate small team under existing managed service contract. This opportunity seeks to enable new deployment of this existing team. Current Phase Beta Work Location Various locations across South London, South east England and East of England. Team based in NE London nominally Working Arrangments At practice sites, coming together with service and other programme teams to share progress, align work packages Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience • Be able to on board majority of current team to meet delivey timescale • Experience in delivering step change in exploitation of primary Care Systems to enable delivery of STP outcomes for primay care Have in depth knowledge of EMIS Web, Commiunity and Search and Reports, SystmOne GP, Strategic Reporting and data analysis systems Nice to Haves No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria Identification of risks and dependencies Flexibility of approach in meeting our goals Approach for matrix management of the team within the wider portfolio of NEL Primary Care division Cultural Fit Criteria Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers Work with clients with low technical expertise Can build and maintain relationships with senior professionals and commissioners Work according to NEL vision and values Payment Approach Capped time and materials Assessment Method Written proposal Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range £130-£150k
