Tender description
The ESS is one of the world's largest scientific and technology infrastructure projects being constructed today, currently under construction to the north east of Lund (Sweden). It will include a waste processing plant known as the Active Cells. The required Works form an integral part of the Active Cells perimeter. It is therefore required that these works perform as part of the perimeter confinement and radiation boundary such that the Works will act to ensure that radioactive particles and radiation within the Active Cells do not pose a hazard to people and the environment. The Contractor shall design manufacture deliver install and commission (including all required testing, verification and documentation) the following: Active Cell Upper and Lower Intrabay Doors, Active Cell Floor Valve 2 off, Active Cell Component Transfer Hatch. Actuating mechanisms, drives and low level control systems.
