Tender description

Natural England is the government’s advisor on the natural environment. We provide practical advice, grounded in science, on how best to safeguard England’s natural wealth for the benefit of everyone. Our remit is to ensure sustainable stewardship of the land and sea so that people and nature can thrive. It is our responsibility to see that England’s rich natural environment can adapt and survive intact for future generations to enjoy. Bird Hide Background The current shore hide is the main bird watching location on the ‘needs Ore’ section of the North Solent NNR, it serves as a meeting place, it holds our record book, information and posters. It looks out over the salt marshes and intertidal area of the Solent and onto the North Shores of the Isle of Wight – this is a highly protected area, both nationally and internationally protected for the habitats and birds found here. It is privately owned by Beaulieu Estate and managed in partnership with Natural England.
