Tender description

Durham County Council is looking to appoint a single Provider to provide a complete Locksmith Service that will be available for use by all County Council properties including Schools/Academies both with and without an SLA (Service Level Agreement) with Design Services. The scope of this Framework will include the supply of locks and security hardware, installation of hardware, repairing and replacing existing locks, a key cutting service, emergency access to Council properties and the design and installation of master keyed suites that could include extensions to existing suites. The Provider is also required to carry sufficient stocks of spares that may be needed to ensure repairs can be carried out in an efficient manner. A 24-hour, 7-day a week service must be provided in order to meet the requirements of the Council.
