This notice is to inform of the suspension of this procurement exercise and the withdrawal of the OJEU notice. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Company Law and Commercial Law including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: Public Procurement (including State Aid); Contract advice and/or drafting; Sale and acquisition of goods and services; Agency and distribution;Public private partnerships including project finance: Outsourcing / contracting of services;Academy conversions;Competition law; Commercial Corporate Governance;Regulatory Law; Joint Ventures; Banking Finance and Insurance; Company Formation; Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions; Taxation; Competition Law; Data Protection; Freedom of Information; Public infrastructure regulation including UK/EU regulation applicable to energy, water, transport and telecommunication industries or any other infrastructure industry;Construction and infrastructure. Insolvency. Advice, representation and drafting of documentation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Employment, Pensions, Human Resources and Industrial Relations, including, but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Employment Tribunal claims (Hearings in Sheffield and Leeds); — Employment Appeal Tribunal cases (Hearings in London); — Civil Court claims for breach of contract and negligent misstatement; — Matters under the Equalities Act and equalities issues generally; — Trade disputes, industrial action (including civil proceedings) and collective bargaining; — Employment contracts, pay and conditions; — TUPE and outsourcing / insourcing including staff transfer agreements; — Managing change, reorganisation and redundancy; — The Local Government Pension Scheme; — Workplace Health and Safety; — Professional regulation, vetting and barring; and — Data Protection and the Information Commissioner's Employment Practices Code. Advice and representation in respect of all aspects of Litigation including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Civil Litigation proceedings as claimant or defendant in the County Court, High Court, Lands Tribunal, etc.; — Civil Injunctions; — Administrative Court proceedings; — Dispute Resolution such as in relation to property, land and commercial matters; — Public Law matters such as judicial review and witness support or other legal services in relation to public inquiries; — Criminal Litigation and advisory services relating to all aspects of regulatory, enforcement, licensing and environmental matters.(Hearings principally Barnsley and Sheffield). Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Charities including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — The setting up of new charities; — the winding up of charities; — Fund-raising and sponsorship; — Constitutional; — Charity corporate governance and — Disposal of charity property. Legal advice and assistance to include, but not limited to: — End to end complex and high value transactional work; — Portfolio and asset management; — Development, financial and security issues; — Compulsory Acquisitions of Land, various provisions e.g. Housing / highways / Development projects / education; — Land Drainage. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Public, Corporate Governance and Information law including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Data Protection and Freedom of Information Law; EU and Competition Law; — Local Government Election Law, Parliamentary election law, referenda administration and Election Court; — Local Government Law and Procedure; — Local Government Finance; — Housing Revenue Account; — Devolution; — The law relating to constitutional issues; — Member codes of conduct and standards; — Law and Procedure relating to disciplinary action against Statutory Officer and Senior Management; — Law and Procedure relating to Local Government Ombudsman; — Standards Investigations; — Corporate Governance; Standing Orders and delegations; — Reports to Cabinet, Full Council and Committees; and — Any other services required to support the Council's Statutory Monitoring Officer role; Judicial Review. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Housing including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Homelessness appeal proceedings; — Social housing; — Management and maintenance of housing stock; — Provision and development of housing; — The law relating to housing nuisance and injunctions; Evictions and possession proceedings; — Judicial Review proceedings. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Planning, but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — General Planning Law; — Public Inquiries; — Judicial Review and High Court Challenges; — Planning Enforcement; — Local Development Framework; — Waste and Minerals; — Heritage, adverts and nature conservation; — Assets of community value; — Sections 106s; — Environmental Impact Assessment Development. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to each specific subject below, but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Highways and other transport infrastructure; — Strategic transport infrastructure projects; — Traffic Regulation / Car parks; — Public Rights of Way / Definitive Map Review. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Adult Social Services and Community Care including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Court of Protection Proceedings; — The law relating to Deprivation of Liberty; — General Social services law, including Safeguarding, Finding & Financial assessment issues; — Mental Health law including Mental Capacity Act applications; — The law relating to public interest immunity; — The law relating to asylum and immigration; — Judicial Review Proceedings; — Inquisitorial Proceedings. Advice and Representation in the undertaking of both legal work and insolvency practitioner work including but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Bankruptcy; — Charging Orders; — Forced Sale; — Liquidation; — Winding up proceedings.
