LDNPA - Brockhole on Windermere Car Park Extension and Refurbishment

Tender description

The proposed work involves the phase refurbishment and extension of the existing car park at Brockhole on Windermere. The contract will involve the following: • Formation of a new link road between the upper and lower car park areas, approximately 20m in length. • Resurfacing of the existing tarmac carpark including the reorganisation and demarcation of the car parking spaces, approximately 4500m2. • Enlargement of the tarmac parking area, approximately 1500m2. • Tarmac surfacing to the existing Grasscrete parking area to incorporate it as a permanent part of the car park, approximately 800m2. • New kerbs and edgings. • New gravel footpaths, approximately 900m2. • New perimeter railings. • Soft landscaping. • Car Park drainage. • Gravelled staff parking areas, approximately 900m2. Full works specification will be detailed in the Tender documents which will follow from 8th September 2017 via The Chest. The site will be open during delivery of the works and as such Health & Safety regulations must be observed and planned for including traffic control.
