Consultation in relation to Hounslow Substance Misuse The LBH has requirements for an integrated community drug and alcohol treatment and recovery service. However it is a possibility that a building for the adult service will not be secured by the Commissioners and therefore the requirement may include additional requirements for the provider to secure the use of suitable premises. Total budget 2 200 000 GBP per annum. Consultation Q1: As a potential provider, do you feel the option of sourcing and securing a building is viable? Q2: If so, do feel this is something you may be able to provide within the budget envelope? Q3: If you do not feel this is viable, are you able to state the main reason/s why? Q4: If you do feel you could potentially meet this requirement are you able to give any more detail about the reasons behind this? The Service The adult service will encompass all community tier two and three modalities (including prescribing, community detoxification, psychosocial interventions, group programmes and recovery interventions) as well as responsibility for the pharmacy needle exchange and supervised consumption schemes and inpatient alcohol detoxification placements. Those who feel this is potentially a service they could provide in such a scenario may be invited to a workshop on September the 6th to discuss the proposal in further detail.
