The Leeds Directory has been in existence since 2005 and lists over 1900 providers of services, over 200 of which are ‘Green Ticked’. The Green Ticked organisations are those that provide a service in someone’s home, garden or on a one to one basis and are checked and vetted by the current provider to make sure they comply with all relevant legislation before they are listed on the directory. The website and helpline are well used and in 2016-17 it had over 86,000 unique website users and a further 3,124 calls to the helpline. The most recent monitoring reports show that the website now regularly receives over 10,000 views per month. The main users of the site are health and social care professionals, third sector organisations that support people with care and support needs or provide information and signposting, and people with care and support needs and their carers.
