Summary of the work This programme, of which this is phase three, develops and supports extended functionality and new digital opportunities for clinicians and integrated care records for joined up care delivery. The requirement is for a team to continue to resource this programme in conjunction with in-house and customer teams. Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Monday 2 October 2017 Budget Range £120K-£150K Why the Work is Being Done Following implementation of solutions to interface with existing digital care record integration schemes, the scope of the work has expanded and further areas need our support for the period 1 Oct 2017 to end March 2018 Problem to Be Solved Iteration of developed solutions and improvement using lessons learned Who Are the Users GPs, administrative and community staff need to be engaged in further development and supported in the use of integrated care record solutions they can make use of quickly and easily to make the provision of care easier and safer. Early Market Engagement Suppliers will have seen and had opportunity to respond to phase one and two requirements of Digital enablement of care record integration. Work Already Done The programme has concluded stages in which existing and planned systems have been prepared for integration .There is now a need for the development and deployment of wider integration of systems and services with partner providers that need to be taken forward. Existing Team Close liaison is required with the locality core GPIT teams. Dedicated in-house resources comprise a care record integration specialist, senior data and business analyst and programme support, as well as resources shared with GP digital optimisation projects. For continuity and efficiency, the supplier will draw need to enrol existing team members. The team will draw on the services of field engineers and infrastructure professionals in the local and wider organisation as required. The work sits within a NEL Primary Care ICT portfolio and will be accountable to an in-house portfolio manager role. Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • • have in depth knowledge of EMIS Web and Community, SystmOne GP, Healthcare Gateway applications • • show that they are able to offer seamless transition of ongoing work to the a managed service • • have experience of implementing integrated healthcare solutions Nice to Haves • • have experience of Orion healthcare solutions • • have knowledge and experience of the S and N E London, Sussex and Northants healthcare communities Work Location East of England South of England Based in North East London Working Arrangments At customer and CSU sites as required - remote working eg from home as agreed. The requirement states this project is for " a team to continue to resource this programme in conjunction with in-house and customer teams." Would it be possible to give more of an indication of what this team would like? For example: how many resources are needed, typical job titles etc. This is a managed service but general pattern has been 3 roles: a Senior Programme Manager, GP clinical system and integration SME, Implementation specialist/trainer. In house teams referred to are BAU technical and BAU GPIT teams 2. Please can you clarify what services in your organisation are currently using the integrated care record? And also what services you are currently planning to expand into for further adoption? We support a variety of organisations who are implementing shared or integrated care records, manly GP groups of various types, often with community services integration 3. What are the intended outcomes and outputs of this engagement? Outputs are joined up GP systems from same supplier, some with join or link to Community systems and viewing in unscheduled care settings, trained users and implemented sharing agreements between participating organisations; outcomes are users enabled to provide more holistic care to patients through visibility of interventions/observations by professional colleagues. 4. Could you please specify the nature of the resources required to deliver the service? This is a managed service, but supplier currently deploys a Senior Programme Manger, SME in GP systems and integration and an implementation/training specialist 5. With a capped time and materials approach, will this include expenses, or will expenses be a separate budget? The capped amount will include expenses 6. Does the authority have an existing RAID log that can be shared under a non-disclosure agreement? There is no RAID log 7. Does the budget range include or exclude VAT? The range includes VAT 8. Will resources being used on the project need to be working 5 days per week? This will be for the supplier to decide
