Major Aids and Adaptations Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Major Aids and Adaptations to Council properties within the Borough of Swindon. The contractor will be required to undertake works such as: — The removal of existing facilities. — The supply and installation of physical aids as required. — Complete adaptation of properties as required. — The provision of scaffolding required to carry out the works. — Making good to the structure and finishing's internally and externally as required. The initial contract period will be for 36 months with the option to extend for a further 24 month period subject to contract performance and budget. This is a demand led service and it is anticipated that the estimated budget contract spend will be 900 000 GBP per annum, 2 700 000 GBP over the initial 3 year period. Estimated minimum spend 700 000 GBP per annum / 2 100 000 GBP over 3 years. Estimated potential maximum spend 1 150 000 GBP per annum subject to budget availability and contract performance. The extension period estimated will be budget 900 000 GBP, minimum 700 000 GBP and maximum 1 150 000 GBP per annum.
