Summary of the work We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Governance Manager to act a catalyst in the establishment of a robust comprehensive data governance environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to overcome legacy practices to drive improvements in data quality, ensuring it is fit for current and future business purposes Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 3 months Latest start date Monday 21 August 2017 Maximum Day Rate £780 including margin and VAT Who Speclialist Work With Working to the Head of Corporate Services, with a close working relationship with IT, GDPR team and other functions in the Corporate services team What Specialists Work On We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Governance Manager to act a catalyst in the establishment of a robust comprehensive data governance environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to overcome legacy practices to drive improvements in data quality, ensuring it is fit for current and future business purposes They will act as the DG lead for the current GDPR project as well as mentor and internal resource to oversee the operational business as usual DG program. Skills & Experience • Demonstrate previous competence in this field • Demonstrate communictaion and project management skills Work Location 120 Holborn is the address for MAS, and where this role will be based Working Arrangments We expect this role to be required for 2 days a week. Can you confirm if the start date is correct please? It says 21st August which is the same date as the closing date? The earliest start date would be w/c 21 August. As the requirements are for 2 days per week, we would be flexible around what days that would be 2. Can I confirm that you intended to set the maximum price indicated as inclusive of VAT? This is correct 3. Can you confirm your IR35 assessment result please? The new public sector IR35 regime which takes effect from 6/4/18 applies where an individual’s services are provided to a “public authority”, which for these purposes is defined in accordance with the FoIA 2000 i.e. if an entity is a public authority for the purposes for the Freedom of Information Act 2000, it will also be a public authority for the purposes of the new IR35 regime. As MAS is not a public authority for these purposes, it is not a public authority for the purposes of the new IR35 regime, and according the new regime does not apply.
