Tender description

Durham County Council has a target to reduce its operational CO2 emissions by 40% by 2020. Over half of the emissions from buildings come from schools. The Council offers a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools, supporting them through • On-line data regarding consumption • Advice on energy efficiency capital works • Out of hours monitoring • Bill validation • In school support. This contract is to appoint a single organisation to work with the Low Carbon Economy Team to deliver the in-school support element of the School Carbon Reduction Programme, aiming to reduce energy waste through behavioural change and low/zero cost measures in schools. The expected start date for the proposed contract is 01 April 2018. The expected end date for the proposed contract is 31 March 2020.
