Arts & Culture Consultant for the Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Scheme

Hull City Council are undertaking a Townscape Heritage Scheme to the historical road of Beverley Road within Hull. There is a wide range of works taking place (and more details of the bigger scheme can be located within the enclosed attachments). In relation to this particular opportunity, Hull City Council wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposal for the delivery of a bespoke Arts and Culture programme, to be delivered on behalf of the Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Scheme. The Arts and Culture programme will enable local stakeholders, including local residents, property owners, business owners, young people and school children, to experience arts and culture activities, based on the cultural, artistic and social heritage of the Beverley Road, within Townscape Heritage target area. The Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Arts and Culture programme should seek to capitalise on the opportunities and interest generated by Hull 2017 City of Culture. However, the Beverley Road Townscape Heritage Arts and Culture programme should aim to offer sustained engagement opportunities and benefits over a longer timeframe (but within the timeframe of the TH scheme). Particular interest will be paid to, but will not be restricted to, proposals that build up on the Terry Street Poems by Douglas Dunn, including their meaning, influences, rhetoric.
