Tender description
In line with the NHS goal of being paperless by April 2020, Norfolk Community Health and Care (NCH&C) has a requirement to store specific records in an a secure location inline with the nationally set retention times (in some cases 70 years). The records will need to be kept secure whilst in storage and only accessible by pre-approved staff. In line with the NHS goal of being paperless by April 2020, Norfolk Community Health and Care (NCH&C) has a requirement to store specific records in an a secure location inline with the nationally set retention times (in some cases 70 years). The records will need to be kept secure whilst in storage and only accessible by pre-approved staff. All access to records will need to be logged and available for audit/review by NCH&C on demand. The NCH&C records will need to be stored for a number of years in line with internal policy. Once retention has been met — The secure storage provider will have the capabilities to destroy the records and certify the destruction on behalf of NCH&C. If access to the records is needed, this will be facilitated by the secure storage provider and could be in a number of ways including but not limited to, physical access on site, return of original to NCH&C or scan of original and emailing of scan to NCH&C. The project scope is limited to the storage of records; including but not limited to patient health records, child health records, employee records and financial records. These make up approximately 10 000 boxes (of differing dimensions). The Trust would like to invite interested parties to an ‘Open Event’ to be held in Norwich on 12.9.2017.
