Liverpool City Council would like to understand the potential supply market within the region for a number of services to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in educational settings and also the level of interest in this potential area of procurement. Potential providers offering services including but not limited to those listed below are asked to return a short questionnaire to enable Liverpool City Council to better understand the supply market; size, composition and capacity. Services we anticipate commissioning include but are not limited to: • Applied behavioural analysis including tutors and consultants • Aromatherapy • Art therapy • Attachment-based Thera-play therapy • Bereavement counselling • Counselling, all models including eclectic practice • Cognitive behavioral therapy • Horticultural therapy • Massage therapy • Mental health practitioners • Mentoring (including using counselling skills to support individuals and facilitate small groups) • Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy • Music therapy • Pet therapy • Play therapy • Sand play therapy • Specialist occupational therapy with qualifications and experience of sensory integration therapy (including advanced practitioners in sensory integration and practitioners with qualifications in module 2/3 in sensory integration) • Systemic family therapy • Specialist speech and language therapy • Tuition, including tuition delivered in the home Keywords: therapy, special education needs, Applied Behavioural Analysis, therapeutic services, childrens services, SEND
