Tender description

Arden & GEM CSU acting on behalf of NHS England - Specialised Commissioning, will be inviting suitably qualified organisations to express interest in delivering Special Isolation Unit (Airborne) safe and effective treatment of HCID that are known or suspected to be transmissible from person to person via the airborne route. It is expected that the procurement will consist of three (3) lots covering London and the South, Midlands and East and the North. The contracts will be for two (2) years with planned commencement date 1 April 2018. WebEx session Interested organisations are also invited to join a market engagement event delivered via a WebEx session on 20 September 2017, 10.30am-12.30pm. WebEx details: WebJoin link: https://www.webjoin.com/ Participant passcode: 69253849 To express your interest in delivering the service/s and/or joining the market engagement WebEx session on 20 September 2017,10.30am-12.30pm please send an e-mail to NHSEngland.Procurement@ardengemcsu.nhs.uk with the following information: 1) In the e-mail title: High Consequence Infectious Diseases Adult and Child Interim Acute Impatient Service 2) In the body of the e-mail: - provide full name of your organisation; - indicate the LOT you are interested in; - indicate the service/s you are interested: a) Adult services; b) Paediatric services; c) both Adult and Paediatric services; - confirm your interest in joining the market engagement WebEx session on 20 September 2017, 10.30am-12.30pm. The purpose of the market engagement WebEx session is to tell you more about the service requirements and enable you to raise questions related to the services. Please note the following deadlines: - Deadline for registration for the market engagement WebEx session is 14 September 2017 at 5pm. - Deadline for expressing an interest in delivering any of the services is 29 September 2017 at 5pm. The expected number of providers sought is: • LOT 1 London and the South: two adult and two paediatric providers • LOT 2 Midlands and East: one adult and one paediatric provider • LOT 3 the North: one adult and one paediatric provider The estimated value per lot is: • LOT 1 London and the South up to £400,000, £100,000 per service per unit per year • LOT 2 Midlands and East, up to £200,000, £100,000 per service per unit per year • LOT 3 the North, up to £200,000, £100,000 per service per unit per year For further information (including about the service requirements for all lots), please refer to the OJEU PIN attached in section "Attachments".
