Tender description

Mechanical installations at the Forensic Science Lab, Backweston, Co. Kildare. Specialist Works (Mechanical, Electrical and Lift Installations) as part of the construction of a new Forensic Science Laboratory, which is to be a mainly 2-storey building of approx.9 550 m2 internal floor area, including laboratories, offices and ancillary accommodation, with a single storey utilities and storage building of 485 m2. Note: this Questionnaire applies to the Mechanical Installations Specialist — separate Questionnaires should be completed in respect of the Electrical and Lift installations. The Mechanical Services shall include but not be limited to the following: Low Pressure Medium Temperature Hot Water Heating Installation Chilled Water Installation and Split Air Conditioning Unit Systems Natural Gas Distribution and Detection Installations Mechanical Ventilation Installations Toilet Extract Ventilation Building Management System Fire Fighting Installation Water Services Installations Laboratory Gases De-Ionised Water Laboratory Equipment Testing and Commissioning Validation Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Handover Seminar.
