Tender description

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of Maintenance of Fuel Systems REF 5977 Iarnrod Eireann (IE) are issuing this call for competition with a view to awarding a service contract to a specialist provider of maintenance services on fuel storage and fuel delivery systems. The contract has been split into lots based on the geographical location of the fuel systems contained within the IE network. The fuel storage and fuel delivery systems are located at a number of railway running maintenance facilities nationwide primarily used to fuel diesel powered rolling stock as part of day to day regular operations. The contract will also include the maintenance of two bulk storage Seveso facilities, one in Dublin Port and the other in Inchicore. Duties will include the provision of preventative maintenance, undertaking of safety checks, 24/7 emergency breakdown cover, installation improvement projects and delivery of modification programs. The requirement will be divided into lots, companies can apply for any or each of the lots: Lot 1) Alex Rd & Inchicore, Lot 2) Waterford, Cork, imerick, Portlaoise, Lot 3) Connolly, Heuston, Drogheda. Companies should clearly indicate in their submission which lots they wish to be considered for.
