DCC is seeking the thoughts and opinions of the supply market around upgrading the North Devon Link Road A361 between South Molton and Bideford so that these can inform our Outline Business Case. We are keen to hear the views of the market and would therefore be grateful if interested parties would complete an online questionnaire available at the following location https://goo.gl/forms/xWSR9HVdDofWDpFy2 The closing date for responses is by 17:00 Friday 15.9.2017. The NDLR A361 is the key strategic link connecting northern Devon and Cornwall to the M5. Our aim is to ensure that this busy commuter, leisure, and freight route continues as a safe and efficient ‘Gateway to northern Devon’. It is currently envisaged that the OBC will prioritise certain sections with a preferred option identified for delivery starting approximately in 2020. The preferred option may be for part or the whole of the current proposals, with potential for each section to be delivered through a separate contract.
