Tender description

Framework Agreement for Dental Consumables, Dental Laboratory Consumables, Dental Implants, Orthodontic Materials, Dental Equipment and Dental Laboratory Equipment. The framework will provide suitable products and the necessary training to facilitate all the requirements of beneficiaries. The contract will be in place for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 12 months. This will have a direct award and mini-competition option. The mini-competition option will be for those defined GPO members who intend to aggregate their demand and commit a minimum spend/volume of 80 % (GPO Open) for a given period. Products that are used on patients to treat dental impairment for tooth restoration and in the treatment of associated gingival tissues. The products offered in Lot 1 will include (but not limited to) the following: — Oral Hygiene Products; — Surgical Consumables; — Hand Instruments; — Restorative Consumables; — Rotary Instruments; — Whitening Treatment Consumables; — Ligatures; — Miscellaneous goods; — Motivators (stickers); — Plastic Ware and Organisers; — Prosthetic Consumables; — Filling Materials; — Finishing and Polishing Materials; — Impression Materials; — Evacuation Materials; — Endodontic Materials; — Disposable Goods; — Cement and Liners; — Bonding Agents; — Dental Syringes and Needles; — Alloys and Accessories. It is intended that 1 supplier (highest scoring) will be appointed to Lot 1 based on being the most economically advantageous tender. The Successful Tenderer will be expected to provide free of charge supporting services such as training, education, clinical support, reporting and cost reduction initiatives. Terms and Conditions / Activity Based Income (ABI). The terms and conditions of this Framework Agreement and any resulting Call-Off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE.
