The London Borough of Waltham Forest was successful in securing funding from the Mayor's Air Quality Fund for the launch and operation of a 0 emissions courier service in the borough. Funding is available over 2 years for the operation of a courier service to businesses and their customers in the borough. The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a Service Delivery Partner to develop and operate a 0 Emissions Courier Service in the borough for the period of 2 years, with an option for an additional 2 years. The operation of the courier service includes (but is not limited to): — The management of the service and development of the business; — Undertaking of all deliveries; — Employment of staff; — Customer interface; — The upkeep and maintenance of vehicles; — Premises to operate the service from.
