Tender description

The Authority is seeking tender submissions to appoint a contractor to deliver the supply and installation of new LED lighting in Liverpool. Stage 1 is to replace SOX and occasional SON street lighting luminaires with new LED luminaires on residential roads and some strategic distributor roads across the city over a nine (9) month implementation programme. The project will also include the replacement of life expired brackets, and the replacement of life expired 5 m to 10 m street lighting columns on those roads targeted as part of the project. Stage 2 is the delivery of a number of street lighting improvement schemes which will include the replacement of both existing columns (primarily concrete and tram pole type) and luminaires. These works will require an element of design.
