Tender description

We wish to appoint a main contractor to undertake the new build construction of 2 no. new build complex needs wheelchair bungalow social housing units at Sallagh Park South, Larne for the following mix of accommodation: — 1 no. 6 person 5 bedroom wheelchair bungalow — 1 no. 4 person 3 bedroom wheelchair bungalow The scheme has been programmed to commence on site on or prior to 31.3.2018 for inclusion in the 2017/18 Social Housing Development Programme. The contract is for the provision of 2no new build social housing accommodation at Sallagh Park South, Larne to create: — 1no. 6 person 5 bedroom complex needs wheelchair bungalow — 1no. 4 person 3 bedroom complex needs wheelchair bungalow Please note this mix may be subject to change based on the outcome of a planning application. The site is a brownfield site located within a residential area. There was previously housing on the site which has now been demolished. The land has been grassed over and is now Temporary Open Space (Planning Ref: F/2012/0283/F). Site surveys are still to be undertaken. The contractor will be responsible for all services etc. to develop this site and for providing, prior to completion, the relevant statutory approvals and documentation. The scheme is to be on site early 2018. The contract period is anticipated to be 9 months.
