Tender description

The contract is for the provision of 15No new build social housing accommodation at 18 Waveney Road, Ballymena to create: — 9no. 2 person 1 bedroom General Needs apartments — 6no. 3 person 2 bedroom General Needs apartments (to include lift) The site is a restricted brownfield site located in a predominately residential area at 18 Waveney Road to the South West of Ballymena town centre. There is currently a 2 ½ storey building onsite which completes a terrace of buildings along Waveney Road which will be demolished as part of the construction works. Site surveys are still to be undertaken. The contractor will be responsible for all services etc. to develop this site and for providing, prior to completion, the relevant statutory approvals and documentation. The scheme is to be on site early 2018.The contract period is anticipated to be 14 months.
