Tender description

The works to be provided under this contract include the following: To record video data continuously (24 hours per day 7 days per week) for 28 days and provide the footage to Highways England in a digital format within one week of the end of the survey period. The contractor is required to review all data capture and identify any unusual traffic movements, conflicts or issues; record the date, time and brief description in an Excel spreadsheet and produce short extract video clips from both cameras at that site showing the event. These are to be reviewed and submitted within 24 hours of these milestones from the start of the survey: • After three days • After 7 days • Every 7 days thereafter Conflicts or issues to be recorded includes, but is not limited to: • Non-compliance with traffic signals • Heavy, sudden or late braking of vehicles • Unusual movements by vehicles or pedestrians including U-turns • Any collision • Any event that could be described as a near miss
