Tender description

The BBC is tendering for a CMS Modernisation Programme which is being tendered in 2 Lots: Lot 1 — Campaign Management System (CMS). Lot 2 — Data Management Solution (DMS). Lot 1 — Campaign Management System (CMS) — The CMS will enable the BBC to design, schedule and execute multi-stage and multi-channel closed loop campaigning. The CMS will manage the BBC contact strategies for segments and cohorts for inbound and outbound channels. Insight, Analytics and Reporting (A&R) — The solution will have analytics and reporting functionality with visualisation tools, for enabling analysis and optimisation of campaigns and for wider business performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The contract for Lot 1 will have an initial term of 3 Years (plus 3, 2 year extensions at the sole discretion of the BBC (the ‘Term’). The contract for Lot 1 will commence in February 2018 and end in January 2021. Lot 1 fees over 9 years are estimated to range from 17 000 000 GBP - 25 000 000 GBP. Procurement documentation can be accessed at https://bbc.bravosolution.co.uk Lot 2 — Data Management Solution (DMS) — The Data Management Solution is a system for storing, accessing, processing, mastering and delivering data, where raw data (both structured and unstructured) loaded from source systems will be transformed into data sets to fulfil different use cases. It will provide the single version of truth for data for consumption by other operational, analytics and reporting applications. It may be composed of several different modules (or products). The contract for Lot 2 will have an initial term of 3 Years (plus three, two year extensions at the sole discretion of the BBC (the ‘Term’). The contract for Lot 2 will commence in February 2018 and end in January 2021. Lot 2 fees over 9 years are estimated to range from 4 000 000 GBP — 6 000 000 GBP.
