Supply of a 3D Whole Body Motion Analysis System for DCU

Dublin City University wish to purchase a “3D camera-based whole body motion analysis system” (Camera-based is meant in the broadest sense and can include optoelectronic cameras etc). While the system should allow for full body gait analysis, it will be equally important that it allows full body analysis for sporting actions of high speed and rotation (e.g. golf swing, sprinting). Where the system is a traditional camera based system, the system should quote for 12 cameras and the results of accuracy reported for a 12 camera system. Where the system uses optoelectronic cameras/units, the system should quote for 3 units and the results of accuracy reported for a 3 unit system. The system should provide enough markers for a whole body 3D analysis. A full list of individualised equipment and software that makes up the complete system should be provided, including details of the computer, data storage capacity, computer monitor size(s), tripods, etc. The software should allow all the necessary data processing, report generation and additional features outlined in Appendix 1 – Requirements and Specifications document.
