Tender description

Norfolk County Council have entered into a contract for a service to manage and co-ordinate the transport and treatment/disposal of landfill leachate produced from selected Norfolk County Council closed landfill sites. The principal purpose of the contract is to enable the Council to perform this duty by disposing of excess landfill leachate offsite at a legally compliant disposal facility. The contract is for the transport from 5 sites, all of which are within the Norfolk County boundary, to a suitable treatment plant for treatment and disposal. There is no guarantee of the level of spend under this contract as it will be dependent on the volumes of leachate collected and disposed off.
