The Trust is running a soft market testing exercise in relation to a possible future public procurement to award a contract for the provision of pathology laboratory services. In terms of the scope of the current services and information for WH Pathology; • Services include Blood Sciences, Microbiology, Cellular Pathology, Point of Care Testing & Direct Access Phlebotomy. • 24/7 service provision, spanning a variety of urgent & routine requests and clinical reporting. • The laboratories are accredited by Clinical Pathology Accreditation and awaiting formal award of UKAS accreditation to ISO 15189:2012. • The laboratory is based on the 5th Floor of K Block at The Whittington Hospital, Magdala Avenue, (off Highgate Hill), London.
