Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to appoint an appropriately accredited wholesale distributor(s) to provide a range of licensed Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products for use by the Live Life Better Derbyshire (LLBD) Stop Smoking Service. The LLBD Stop Smoking Service offers a 12-week programme to smokers and a regular supply of NRT is a key element to a successful quit programme. The contract will enable the Council to purchase NRT products directly from wholesaler(s) at a discounted rate. The products are in 2 lots: Lot 1 Nicorette or equivalent, Lot 2 NiQuitin or equivalent. Wholesale bidders can bid for both lots. The contract award will be split into 2 lots with an award to 1 successful wholesaler per Lot. The contract is for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 12-month periods, with a contract start date of 1.11.2017. Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
