Tender description
The 16 Cancer Alliances across England are key to driving the change needed across the country to achieve the Taskforce's vision. Our Cancer STP work stream became a Cancer Alliance in November 2016 and as part of their early work bid for transformation funding to support the earlier diagnosis of Cancer. The bid was successful and as a result the Cancer Alliance will receive additional funding to deliver a number of interventions with the aim of increasing the proportion of cancers diagnosed at an early stage. The development of a Social Movement in Cancer Prevention, Awareness and Support is one of those interventions across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire (including Hardwick).
