Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support working, for and on behalf of NHS North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group, wish to commission an integrated urgent care centre within the North Tyneside locality. The centre will deliver an integrated 24 hour urgent care service for all ages. It will integrate urgent care with local primary care; ensuring patients are directed to the appropriate point of care. It will improve links between urgent and emergency care, reducing unnecessary attendance and referrals to A&E to ensure patients with urgent care needs receive the necessary treatment within North Tyneside locality, ensuring a clinically and financially sustainable service. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement with potential providers.
