Tender description

Trafford Council sought projects that may offer interventions that will meet the needs of children and young people between 5 and 12 years old with moderate emotional difficulties in a safe, confidential space. Examples include therapeutic approaches such as drama therapy, art therapy, therapeutic play, counselling, mentoring, group support, peer support, drop-ins, structured self-help approaches, behavioural techniques and family support. The Council were open to projects offering different types of interventions or a collaboration of services to meet the needs of different children and young people. The project will need to be clear on how many sessions of support children will be able to access within the capacity of the project and communicate this to all stakeholders.
